Organizing your wedding is one of the most important times of your life, absolutely everything needs to be as perfect as possible, from the dress, church/venue to the table fevers, hair and make-up, another very important preparation that every bride should invest in is her skin, its all very well spending hundreds on a make-up artist but as I have pointed out in a previous blog Prepare Your Skin For Flawless Make-up there is only so much a make-up artist can do on the canvas you present her with.
Every bride wants to look back on her special day for years to come, knowing she looked her best, achieving the perfect complexion should come high up on your list of priorities, not only having clear, radiant skin as a base for your makeup, it is also a real confidence boost and should not be under estimated.
I recommend that you start your skincare program no later then 3 months before your wedding, this will ensure any breakout from changing your skin program will of cleared up, changing your skincare regimen and having facials means your skin is detoxing, some people who never have facials or have left years since having one, have years of dead skin cells, sebum build up make-up and sunblock blocking their pores so using professional strength products during your facial is actually getting deeper and drawing out any dirt and bacteria then anything you have brought over the counter, this can cause your skin to maybe have a small breakout whilst it detoxes. A facial each month before your big day will ensure your complexion is radiant and ultimately enhanced.
I have put together a number of packages for the bride, groom and bridal party (mother, mother-in-law to be and bridesmaids) you can find the packages in the services page of my site.
Three Months Before The Wedding…
Tint test for eyelash and eyebrow tinting/LVL Enhancement
Trial a spray tan, If you are having a spray tan for your big day then its best to have a trial run, there are so many fake tans on the market these days and you dont want to wake up looking like a umpa lumpa, also tell your make-up artist before your make-up trial so she/he can match your base makeup perfectly with your glowing tan.
Facial (to be discussed with your therapist depending on skin type and required result)
Week before your wedding....
Manicure, pedicure and eyelash tint or LVL enhancement (one/two days before)
Any waxing, eyebrow shapes (two/three days before)
Spray tan (after any waxing but before the manicures and pedicures)
